Managing Director

We are currently looking for an experienced managing director for one of the software businesses we are acquiring in England, UK.

​

Role:

• Report directly to the board of directors of Vicen Software Group.

• Managing Director will have full responsibility for the P&L, management and strategic direction of the business.

• Closely monitor the company’s financial performance and customer satisfaction while preparing appropriate budgets against forecasted plans.

• Manage and supervise the workforce, providing guidance and motivation to drive performance.

• Develop and execute the company’s business strategies to maximise the long term value of the business.

• Provide strategic feedback and advice to the board of directors so that they will have an accurate view of the market and the company’s future.

Candidate:

• An experienced managing director who has had considerable success in a technically demanding and customer-focused software company.

• Proven experience of developing strategies and business plans.

• Experience managing more than 10 people.

• We are looking for someone who has a whole range of skills, from managing projects, to directing product development, to sales and marketing and developing client relationships. Often the companies we acquire lack a good sales/marketing manager so the managing director would take on that role.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

• An excellent motivator and effective communicator with the ability to create a culture focused on customer satisfaction and long term results.
